During a walk or bike ride down the greenway and through Lilburn Park, you may have heard musicians jamming away on the stage. Believe it or not, the stage has welcomed a lot of Lilburn's talented musicians over the years during events like "Lilburn Daze" and "Sparkle in the Park". This brings our attention to Music on Main Street, a center for music instruction, instruments, repairs and music performances. Music on Main Street devote a lot of their time working with local musicians who may be starting with their first instrument or trying to advance to the next level of their playing abilities.
Local artist Sonny Franks painted this 50 foot replica of Jerry Garcia's guitar fretboard mural on the retaining wall in front of Music on Main Street as a way to help Lilburn support musicians, artists, local businesses and the community as whole. A cool feature of the is mural are the working tuner pegs.
