This is a Dogwood tree located on the north side of the Cobb Family Historical Park on West Main. The Mulvane Federated Women's club was established in 1914 and is one of the largest and oldest women's service organizations in the world. The club meets monthly and "encourage participation in the arts, music, writing, education, veteran projects, library, children’s organizations, historical museum, healthy lifestyles, and other civic involvement" as indicated on their website.
This dogwood was planted to honor the women of this organization.
