John (5/22/1925 - 12/1/1991) and Roberta (6/26/1925 - 3/10/2017) were active citizens of Mulvane. She served as City Clerk, and he owned Kimble Electric, and was a caretaker of the local cemetery.

This is a mature Sweet Gum tree in honor of this couple who served the town of Mulvane. It is located on the north side of the park near the old stone jailhouse.
