Knooppunt 37 ligt in het oosten van Utrecht, op de plek waar de Waterlinieweg de Koningsweg kruist. Vanaf hier gaat de route richting knooppunt 34 parallel aan de Waterlinieweg richting Lunetten. De route naar knooppunt 35 brengt je de stad uit, in de richting van Houten. De route naar het nabijgelegen knooppunt 38 brengt je juist de stad in.
