Dwingeloo is door de provinciale herindeling onderdeel van de nieuwe gemeente Westerveld. De brink in het centrum van het dorp waar u zich nu bevind is een beschermd dorpsgezicht. In 2011 werd Dwingeloo uitgeroepen tot groenste dorp van Europa. Op 1 januari 2020 telde het dorp 2425 inwoners.
Vanaf dit fietsknooppunt kun je heerlijk fietsen richting Nationaal Park Dwingelderveld.

Due to the provincial reorganization, Dwingeloo is part of the new municipality of Westerveld. The brink in the center of the village where you are now is a protected village view. In 2011 Dwingeloo was named the greenest village in Europe. On January 1, 2020, the village had 2425 inhabitants.
