"Genesis" is a stained-glass window made by the Mexican artist Leonardo Nierman. It is located at the southwestern side of the John C. Hitt Library's third floor.
The abstract piece was installed in 1987. Nierman also created the "Flame of Hope" statue outside of the library's southwest entrance.
The window is visible from the outside, but it can be difficult to spot during the day. If you want to see it outside, look just above the awning at the library's entrance.
