English: Artistic memorial plaque and an oak tree are deep in the ground and planted in Munke bog to mark the constitutional amendment in 1915 and the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage in Denmark.

The tradition of planting a tree - often an oak tree - to honor the women who first came to the demand for a change in the law is seen in many places in the country and is called women's oak or woman tree.

On April 20, 1908, the Election Act was amended to give women the right to vote in municipal elections, and the following year, on March 12, 1909, four days after Women's Day was celebrated for the first time in the United States, women participated in a municipal election in Denmark for the first time. The constitutional amendment of 1915, which came into force in 1918, gave women the right to vote and stand for election to general and county council elections.
