FR Ce vitrail est l'un des plus étranges que je connaisse.
Habituellement, les vitraux sont dans les églises mais ici, le vitrail isolé, est sur un chemin de randonnée, loin de toutes habitation ou site religieux.
Un tronc d'arbre a été coupé, une zone ouverte de part en part et le vitrail inséré. Un toit protège le vitrail.
Sa particularité ne s'arrête pas là car en règle générale, les vitraux représentent des saints ou des scènes religieuses à valeur positives (miracle par exemple). Ici on voit le saint qui semble subir des coups de poing d'autres personnes.
EN This stained-glass window is one of the strangest that I know of.
Usually, the stained glass windows are in churches but here, the isolated stained glass window, is on a hiking trail, far from any habitation or religious site.
A tree trunk has been cut, an area open right through and the stained glass window inserted. A roof protects the stained-glass window.
Its particularity does not stop there because as a general rule, the stained glass windows represent saints or religious scenes with positive value (miracle for example). Here we see the saint who seems to be being punched by other people.
