This is a 155 acre lake, with two coldwater trout streams.
It is stocked with Walleye, Muskellunge, and Trout. Also present are Bass, Trout, Chain Pickerel, Perch, Catfish, Crappies, and Panfish.
The Lake is in the Big Bass Programm, and is closed to all fishing from March 1 until the opening day of the trout season.
There are two boat launch areas and seasonal boat rentals.
Only electric motors are permitted. Boats either need a registration sticker or a launch permit.
A state fishing license is required to fish here.
There is a fishing pier for people with disabilities at the East Short day use area.
Ice thickness is not monitored. It should be at least four inches thick for ice fishing.
Recommended tackle: Flies for the panfish, top water for the bass, and troll with Rooster Tail brand spinners for trout.
