le Pont sur le Cher, qui a encore gardé son aspect médiéval. Il était à l’époque sur l’itinéraire reliant Paris à Bordeaux. Ce sont les Anglais Plantagenêts, propriétaires de l’Anjou, qui l’ont construit. Mais il a été démoli au XIXe siècle lors de la construction du Cher canalisé. Cependant, il a été reconstruit de façon à être proche de la version de 1680, sauf l’arche extrême de la rive droite, et la grande pile rive gauche qui se retrouve nue. Les troupes allemandes l’ont miné durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, mais la Résistance locale l’a défendu le 2 septembre 1944.
