Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941) - polski pianista oraz kompozytor, działacz niepodległościowy, mąż stanu i polityk. Jedna z najwazniejszych postaci dla Polski. Od 1919 roku sprawował funkcje premiera i ministra spraw zagranicznych RP. Dzięki jego bezpośrednim wpływom i naciskom prezydent Stanów Zjednoczonych Woodrow Wilson postawił ultimatum do podpisania przez jego kraj traktatu wersalskiego. Dodał on punkt nr 13 domagający się zgody stron traktatu na pełną suwerenność Polski.

Opis pomnika:
Znajduje się on obok Auli Nova, przyt ul. Święty Marcin w Poznaniu. Postać I. J. Paderewskiego uchwycono podczas chodu, który wskazywać ma na wchodzenie jego osoby w przestrzeń historyczną miasta. Cokół mierzy 140 cm, a sama postać ma 350 cm wysokości. Na pomniku znajdują się jego imię, nazwisko oraz lata życia.

Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941) - Polish pianist and composer, independence activist, statesman and politician. One of the most important figures for Poland. Since 1919 he was Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland. Thanks to his direct influence and pressure, US President Woodrow Wilson issued an ultimatum for his country to sign the Treaty of Versailles. He added item No. 13 demanding that the parties to the treaty agree to full Polish sovereignty.

Monument Description:
It is located next to the Auli Nova, on Święty Marcin Street in Poznań. The figure of I. J. Paderewski has been captured walking, which is supposed to indicate his entry into the historical space of the city. The pedestal measures 140 cm and the figure itself is 350 cm tall. The monument bears his name, surname and the years of his life.
