De kapel van de Kapelberg ligt aan de rand van de bebouwde kom van Bergharen op een klein heuvelachtig bosterrein dat beheerd wordt door de Stichting Geldersch Landschap. Een korte oprijlaan leidt naar de kapel en de ernaast gelegen molen, die als woonhuis fungeert. De toegang tot het terrein waarop de kapel ligt wordt gevormd door een poort, waarboven staat: 'O.L. Vrouw ter Nood Gods'. In deze in 1945 opgetrokken poort zijn natuurstenen fragmenten verwerkt van het in 1941 opgegraven kasteel bij Balgoij. Op de linkerpilaar van de poort staat 'Openbare bidplaats'.

The chapel of the Kapelberg is located on the edge of the built-up area of ??Bergharen on a small hilly woodland that is managed by the Geldersch Landschap Foundation. A short driveway leads to the chapel and the adjacent mill, which functions as a residence. The entrance to the site on which the chapel is located is formed by a gate, above which it says: 'O.L. Woman in Need of God '. In this gate, built in 1945, fragments of natural stone from the 1941 excavated castle near Balgoij have been incorporated. On the left pillar of the gate it says 'Public place of worship'.
