A stunning portrait of a young woman is painted on the west side of Katt's Korner Nail Salon. It is at the southwest corner of Prospect and N.E. 36th St.
Purple is the primary color in this piece of art that is approximately fifteen feet high and twenty feet long. The artist does a wonderful job painting a young black woman. Her hair is up high, behind her ears, and strands hang down across both of her shoulders. She has a thoughtful look on her face. To her right (the viewer's left)and behind is a large cat (think Katt's Korner theme), that is painted in mosaic shapes of purple, black, blue, pink and white. The entire background of the mural is purple.
