This is a small park along the Illinois River. It offers a large, open grassy area with some playground equipment and a picnic shelter. A nice view of the skyline of Peoria on the opposite side of the river can be had from the river's shore, that is, when the river is at its normal level. At the time of the photos, the river was high and access to the normal shoreline was not possible.
The entrance and parking are obvious once one is there. The coordinates are in the parking lot from where the main photo was taken.
