Description:
It is a Romanesque-style church, with a single nave and a rectangular apse. It has a main access side portal with a pointed arch and archivolts. The conventual residential wings, originally linked to the church by an overpass, were entirely renovated in the Baroque period and are currently in ruins. Different elements stand out in them: an exterior access skid, a circular sentry box in the corner, balconies and sun beds and, above all, a large fireplace topped with pinnacles.

State of conservation:
The monastery is in poor condition. The wings of the convent present a state of general ruin with collapse of walls, fall of roofs and invasion of vegetation. As the church has maintained the cult to this day, it is kept in better condition, although it would need a general restoration in which the structure is consolidated, dampness is eliminated and the carpentry repositioned.Already in 1988 the Xunta de Galicia announced that they wanted to recover the old monastery and restore the church. In recent years, some visits have been made and the restoration of the complex has been raised on several occasions; however, no action has yet been taken.
