Roger Joseph Houle grave marker is in Fairview section 28 plot 7. This is the one of the oldest sections with some slightly raised grave makers and a few small uprights. The Roger Joseph Houle grave marker is black granite with white lettering with two Doves of Peace one each in the upper corners.

Roger Joseph Houle was born July 9, 1927 and passed away January 5, 2013. He was 85 years of age.

Huguenot Cross

The Huguenot Cross is in the center lower portion of Roger Joseph Houle grave marker.

It is a Protestant symbol originating in France and is one of the more recognizable and popular symbols of the French evangelical reformed faith.

First appearing in France during the French Wars of Religion. The Cross has major symbols: The Maltese cross at the center represents Christ and the defeat of death. Eight points represent the beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount. The fleur-de-lys has twelve petals representing the Twelve Apostles. The dove represents the Holy Spirit.

Oliver Cemetery was established in the mid-1870s and is well maintained. There is a veterans section, and a scattering garden toward the back of the cemetery. There are approximately 3,500 interments that are graced by towering trees and well maintained grassy areas. There are numerous dedicated benches and dedicated trees, and a memorial garden with a gazebo.
