Le calvaire est un ensemble religieux représentant la crucifixion du Christ.
Cette croix est présente sur le terrain de l'église Notre-Dame de Pompéi, à Montréal. La croix de couleur noir mesure environ 20 pieds de haut. Elle repose sur un socle de maçonnerie. La tête de Jesus est tournée vers la droite. Au bas de la croix, on remarque sa mère Marie et Marie Madeleine. Cette croix, érigée en 1961, porte l'inscription suivante: I.N.R.I. c'est-à- dire, Iesus Nazarenus Rex Ludaeorum, (Jesus le Nazaréen Roi des Juifs).

This cross is present on the grounds of Notre-Dame de Pompéi Church in Montreal. The black colored cross is approximately 20 feet high. It rests on a masonry plinth. Jesus' head is turned to the right. At the bottom of the cross, we notice his mother Marie and Marie Magdelene. This cross, erected in 1961 bears the following inscription: I.N.R.I. ie, Iesus Nazarenus Rex Ludaeorum, (Jesus the Nazarene King of the Jews).
