Located in the community of Cassadaga, Florida which has been called the Psychic Capitol of the World by Bill Geist of CBS Sunday Morning and broadcasted on 12/30/2007 is an unusual sign in a resident’s front yard. A street sign with Mediumship Way and Spiritualist Street.

In reality there are no streets with such names in the community, but due to the large number of psychics, mediums, and spiritualist practitioners per square mile it seems only appropriate that a yard sign would indicate so. Besides being one of the largest ‘spiritualist communities’ in the southern United States Cassadaga also is the oldest ‘spiritualist community’. It should be mentioned that this street sign is also the most photographed sign for visitors and tourists according to locals and is used by a number of publications featuring articles about Cassadaga.
