“Born in Boston, Massachusetts 1745 an died in Ponta Delgada in 1834.
He was an American businessman, vice-consul of the United States (1795-1834) to the islands of São Miguel. One of the pioneers in the development Hydrotherapy of Furnas, where he built the Yankee Hall, initial core of the current Parque Terra Nostra"
