Dating to the late 17th early 18th century Stonesfield lock-up is one of few remaining village lock-ups in Oxfordshire that would at one time have been common in the region. Constructed of simple stone walls, slate roof and heavy wooden door with grill. The internal can be view with a torch through the grill which reveal a bench and retaining rings to the rear. Apart from the grill on the door there is little evidence of the buildings former use, it could easily be just an out building for a local property.
