Located in Cassadaga, Florida are a number of parks and meditation gardens. A Self Guided Walk brochure of these locations can be obtained at the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building and Bookstore. Included in the brochure is Horseshoe Park and Fairy Trail which is one of the oldest parks and largest fairy community in Cassadaga.
The original 1904 survey showing the layout of the Cassadaga community consisted of a meandering circular roadway surrounding the area now known as Horseshoe Park due to its horseshoe shape when viewed from above or on maps. This park is also home to the Fairy Trail. Situated on the north side of the park and the labyrinth one will find the Fairy Trail and the Fairy Trail community consisting of numerous fairy homes and structures.
This particular fairy door painted in red on a yellow facade looks to be a two story home with a very large attic and peaked roof. On this visit it appears that a gnome was attempting to repair the broken second story window and took a bad fall from his ladder. But never fear, it appears a team of rescuers is on the way to provide assistance and any necessary first aid.
