«L'église de Saint-Georges est un lieu de culte catholique construit de 1845 à 1848. Le plan de cet édifice en pierre est composé d'une nef rectangulaire prolongée par un choeur plus étroit terminé par un chevet plat. La façade est symétrique et ses ouvertures cintrées sont alignées selon une grille composée de trois divisions horizontales et verticales. L'église est coiffée d'un toit à deux versants légèrement retroussés couronné par un clocher posé sur le faîte en façade et par un clocheton au-dessus du chevet. Une sacristie en pierre est adossée au chevet dans le prolongement du choeur. Orientée vers l'ouest, l'église s'élève au coeur du noyau religieux de la municipalité de Cacouna. Elle se situe en retrait de la rue, entre la salle paroissiale (1932) et le presbytère (érigé de 1835 à 1841), et le cimetière la jouxte du côté sud. The plan of this stone building consists of a rectangular nave extended by a narrower choir ending in a flat apse. The facade is symmetrical and its arched openings are aligned according to a grid made up of three horizontal and vertical divisions. The church is topped with a slightly rolled-up gable roof crowned by a bell tower placed on the ridge on the facade and by a bell tower above the apse. A stone sacristy leans against the apse in the extension of the choir. Oriented towards the west, the church rises in the heart of the religious nucleus of the municipality of Cacouna. It is set back from the street, between the parish hall (1932) and the presbytery (built from 1835 to 1841), and the cemetery adjoins it on the south side.
