Cassadaga is known as the Psychic Capitol of the World according to Bill Geist of CBS Sunday Morning TV show. It is also the oldest spiritualist community in the southern United States. The Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp has printed a brochure/pamphlet that can be used to take a self guided walking tour of the community. Copies can be obtained at the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building and Bookstore and this is the starting point of the self guided walk.
There are 9 points of interest along the guided walk with the majority of them being gardens and parks. A short description of each point of interest is in the brochure and QR Codes are available for scanning and accessing additional information. There are also informational signs in some locations.
(Boomers OTR recommends you either download & save on a portable electronic device or print out the National Register of Historic Places, Historic District application for more detailed information on specific historical buildings and other information for places along the walk that are not listed in the brochure/pamphlet.)
