"Buffon Museum (Historical Monument, Museum of France, labeled "House of the Illustrious" in 2011). Dedicated to George-Louis Leclerc, Count of Buffon (1707-1788) and his closest collaborator Louis Jean-Marie Daubenton (1716-1800) (first director of the Museum of Natural History in Paris), the museum offers a through Natural History and Enlightenment philosophy. Two temporary exhibition rooms offer, in connection with the museum's collections, a discovery of the artistic and scientific heritage of the two famous naturalists."
