From the ground level looking at the Courthouse, you would be impressed by the appearance of the building and it's history. What you might not know is that 5 stories above you is a compass rose painted onto the brick floor. All you have to do is enter the courthouse, take the elevator to the fourth floor, and then take the stairs up to the fifth level. Once you emerge at the top, you will immediately notice two things...1) the 4 foot compass rose painted on the floor and 2) the amazing view.
