This is a spring house located in the hamlet of Adega, not far from a village named Querença, in Southern Portugal

The spring house has a plaque with the year 1917 carved. These days common people don't have access to it: it's locked. In the old times it used to provide water to the population and to the wash house across the road. Actually the road is named after the spring house: Rua da Fonte. That's what it means.
