This gasoline pump is placed in front of a former shop in the village Wallenborn in the Eifel. The shop has been closed a long time ago and looks like a lost place. But actually it is placed in the middle of the main road of the village. The date on the seal seal of the measurement office show 1997, that is the latest year when this pump was allowed to be used, but the price does only allow prices below DM 1,00. A limit which was broke in the 1980's. This makes me think, that this pump was build in the 1970s. Remarkable is also the brand, which has been sold. Pennzoil is not a common gasoline brand in Germany and gasoline stations selling this brand where very uncommon in Germany.
