OSCAR DOLL: In 1940 he was 20 years old, and the son of Fritz and Clara Doll. He had a sister three years older than himself.
WALTER SCHERMANN: Born 21 July 1915, and died 17 October 1944.
ARMIN MICHEL: Born in 1920 in Boeuf, MO and died 4 August 1944 in France.
GARY MUNDWILLER: Born19 January 1949 and died 10 February 1994
The Fire Departments name here causes confusion to those not familiar with it. The Fire Departments real name is "Herman Fire Company 1" so when an out-of-stater" waymarked station 2 they called it station 1 because of the department name.
Station 1 is on E. 2nd St, in Hermann
Station 2 is on MO-100 at the City Park, Hermann
Station 3 is in the village of Swiss.
