Pleasant View Cemetery, final rest for about six hundred souls, is a few miles southwest of Darlo. This cemetery was associated with the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren established at this site in 1886. The church was disbanded and demolished in 1967; a private home is now on that lot (across the road to the north). There are graves here that date back to the 1880s.
