A memorial tablet in memory of those from the Island who fought and gave thier lives in The Normandy Campaign 1944 inside The Royal Chapel in the village of St. John's.
The memorial take the form of a Granite tablet with a dome head, In which is the crest of the Normandy Veteran's Association. The dedication is inscribed in white and shown below:
'IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THOSE
WHO FOUGHT & GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE
NORMANDY CAMPAIGN 1994.
NORMANDY VETERANS ASSOCIATION
ISLE OF MAN. 'The plaque was affixed to the wall in its current location in November 2004, and dedicated at the Armistice Sunday service. (Letter dated 25 February 2005 signed by E.S. Hannath, Esq., M.B.E, Hon. Secretary of the N.V.A.).'
