St. Thøger was a man who came to the area to spread Christianity. In the beginning, however, his teachings did not become very widespread among the people, but once when he had gone to sleep, a spring sprang up under his head, and then it was realized that he was a man of God.

Skt. Thøger is a holy well, where the water has healing power. You do not even have to visit the well, it is enough to drink water that comes from the well.

There are several legends associated with the holy spring. One tells of witches dancing around the spring of midsummer. Another legend is about cats with glowing eyes dancing around the holy well.
Once upon a time there was a boy who wanted to see the cats with glowing eyes, and at night he listed to the spring where his saw all the cats. When he had gone home again, he heard a cat and suddenly the cats with glowing eyes were in his room and bit and tore him. With a large knife he defended himself. When he hit a cat on the leg, they all disappeared. The next day one could see the neighbor wife limping, it was said that one of her legs was almost cut off.
