This is quite a mysterious tomb. It's located on the grounds of the Natural Park Ria Formosa, not far from the fence of the international airport of Faro. It's a simple headstone with a name and a year carved on the stone: João Evangelista, 1824. Nothing could be dug out about the story of the person and the tomb.
