This statue of a young man with arms raised is entitled "Glen." There are several sculptures of children at the National Orphan Train Complex, all showing children enjoying life. The purpose of the Orphan Trains were to relocate orphaned, abandoned, and homeless children to new homes throughout the United States and give them a chance at a better life. Glen is symbolic of that new life.
