"200 years ago, Dieppe was the first seaside town in France. It has preserved its beautiful promenade along the sea. City of Art and History, Dieppe is a dynamic and lively port city. end, the café terraces on the port are always full. A few shops are even open on Sundays. Every two years, the International Kite Festival puts on a magical spectacle. It is the most important gathering of this type in Europe.

Over 100,000 people come every year (in November) to attend the Herring and Scallop Festival. Here more than elsewhere, herring has occupied a predominant place. Until the 1970s, the one known here as "the king fish" was the engine of the local economy. The scallop is associated with this event since Dieppe is the leading French port in this area.

The Beach: The recessed seafront gives way to a vast area of ??lawns and kindergartens that stretches over nearly 2 km in length. "
