This cross, which stands about 30 feet in the air, is made of wrought iron. Not just twisted wrought iron, as most are, but intricate twisted small pieces, welded together to make a large whole.
Then painted white. The pattern and design of the twisted metal pieces is to resemble a vine, with leaves, growing up out of the ground and forming a gigantic cross.
