De impact van de Moeslandse Carnaval in Schaijk is groot en een bijzondere en unieke aangelegenheid. Stichting Carnaval De Moeslanden bestaat in 2012/2013 maar liefst 55 jaar! Zij heeft als doel om tijdens het 55 jarig bestaan een standbeeld/monument te onthullen, die symbool staat voor het dorp Schaijk c.q. het Moesland. Het carnaval neemt in de samenleving van Schaijk een zeer belangrijke plaats in.

Het monument is een scheefstaande kegel opgebouwd uit tientallen stalen mensfiguurtjes, met aan de top een gekroond mensfiguurtje (prins carnaval) van aluminium of staal. Het stelt voor het hele dorp in één grote optocht, elkaar vasthoudend, carnaval vierend, met aan de top van het feestgedruis: de prins als middelpunt en hoogst bereikbare ambt in het Moesland." (Moesland is de carnavalsnaam van Schaijk).

The impact of the Moesland Carnival in Schaijk is great and a special and unique affair. The Carnival De Moeslanden Foundation exists in 2012/2013 for no less than 55 years! Its aim is to unveil a statue / monument during its 55th anniversary, which symbolizes the village of Schaijk or the Moesland. The carnival occupies a very important place in Schaijk's society.

The monument is a crooked cone made up of dozens of steel human figures, with a crowned human figure (prince carnival) of aluminum or steel at the top. It represents the entire village in one big procession, holding each other, celebrating carnival, with at the top of the festivities: the prince as the center and highest accessible office in Moesland.
