DE: Im Jahr 2006 entwarfen die Metallbauer Fröbel in Brühl Großkakteen aus Metall nach dem Vorbild in Mexiko. Mehrere Kakteen mit Größen zwischen 4 und 8 Metern Höhe wurden in der Zeit zwischen März 2006 und Juli 2007 hergestellt und an verschiedenen Orten (temporär) aufgestellt. Der Kaktus in der Immendorfer Straße 4 wurde dabei als permanentes Ausstellungsstück vorgesehen.

EN: In 2006, the metalworkers Fröbel in Brühl designed large metal cacti based on the model in Mexico. Several cacti with sizes between 4 and 8 meters in height were produced between March 2006 and July 2007 and placed in different places (temporarily).
