Located near the intersection of Cassadaga Road and McKinley Street in the center of historical Cassadaga, Florida is a United States Coast and Geodetic Survey benchmark disc. This community is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic District. The benchmark disc is located near the two historic town pillars that are listed as contributing structures in the NRHP application.

Parking is near the disk or across the street. Not far from the intersection of the disk is the historic Cassadaga Hotel. The Cassadaga Hotel, a Mediterranean Revival style building built in 1927, replaced the original hotel that burned in 1926. It is one of several contributing buildings for the historic district listing.
