Atwood Lake Park is on the south side of Atwood Lake. The park includes a fine public playground with plenty of children's play equipment. There is a "lion" water fountain in the play area, and this park is also called Atwood Lion's Park. There is also a sand volleyball court and plenty of room to walk the dog or jog. For those interested in waymarks, the nearby "covered bridge" is in a relatively rare category.
