St Andrew's church traces its roots to the establishment of a Presbyterian congregation in 1844. The congregation opted to realign with the fledgling United Church of Canada following the split of 1925.
Today, the church is still very active in the local community.

"Special events here include a roast beef supper in April, the Yard & Bake Sale in May, the Christmas Bazaar in late November and a Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday. Special worship services include Christmas Eve and our Anniversary is also celebrated in September. The UCW meet the first Wednesday afternoon of the month and the "Quazy Quilters" meet once a month to make quilts in support of the Christian Community Outreach Project. "Dinner and a Movie" night is the last Friday of the month from Sept. - Nov. and Jan. to June at 6:00 p.m."
Sunday services are normally held at 9:15 AM.
