There are actually three cemeteries here! Konawa Cemetery, on the east side of 3500 Road, is in Seminole County. Violet Springs Cemetery and Bates Cemetery, on the west side of the road, are in Pottawattamie County. It appears that all three are maintained by the City of Konawa. The well-tended cemetery is final rest for about twenty-five hundred souls. Grave markers here date back to well over a century ago.
