Lt. Gen. Robert M. Bond
16 December 1929 - 26 April 1984

This F-105 Thunderchief is dedicated in memory of Lt. Gen. Robert M. Bond, who died in service to his country. General Bond flew the F-105 both as a test pilot and combat pilot. As Vice-Commander of the Air Force Systems Command, he was ever mindful of the importance of simulated flight testing, and made many important contributions to this center and its people.
