During a rechearch (on wikipedia) whilst looking through my vacation pictures of a vacation in Tunisia I found an awesome picture from 1940 of the Bab Saadoun gate.
from wikipedia (https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bab_Saadoun):
"The Bab Saadoun is a city gate on the outskirts of the Tunisian capital Tunis in the Bab Souika district. The gate is named after the saint Sidi Bou Saadoun and was probably built around 1350.
The gate is over the road that leads to Beja, Bizerte and El Kef. The structure had only one arch until 1881, but it was soon replaced in response to oncoming traffic."
Year photo was taken: 1940
