This footbridge can be found crossing the Achray Water on the route to the summit of Ben Venue, a craggy 2,386 foot mountain in The Trossachs in the Southern Highlands of Scotland.

The Achray Water is a short river of just over a mile long, linking the lochs of Achray and Katrine. The bridge crosses it around half a mile or so from the Ben Venue Car Park on the A821 at the western end of Loch Achray. The route then continues westwards through the forest before emerging onto the open hillside. It then loops around in a clockwise direction to eventually reach the summit from the west. In all it is around four miles from car park to summit.

The bridge is relatively new and has a tarmac surface between the wooden parapet railings.
