Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Sousoší bylo preneseno na své nynejší místo, pred budovu borohrádecké fary, teprve kolem roku 1980. Do té doby stálo na exponovaném, nepríliš vzdáleném míste pri silnicní komunikaci. Sousoší Nejsvetejší Trojice nese pilírová podstava tvorená jednostupnovou podestou, soklovou patkou, zužujícím se telem s postranními volutovými krídly, výrazne profilovanou rímsovou hlavicí, dvoudílným pilírovým nástavcem s postranními volutovými krídly a druhou, vlastní pilír ukoncující rímsovou hlavicí. Samotné sousoší je ztvárneno v typizovaném podání, kdy po pravici sedící starecké postavy Boha Otce s atributem zemekoule sedí Buh Syn, Ježíš Kristus, držící kríž. Obe postavy jsou podány v životní velikosti. Nad jejich hlavami se vznáší v podobe holubice Duch Svatý obklopený kruhovou svatozárí, která je, stejne jako holubice, železná.
