Tetraëders zijn versperringen die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog in groten getale op het strand stonden. "Tetraëder" betekent viervlak. Het zijn dus piramides met vier vlakken. In oorlogstijd samengesteld met zes balken van ieder 120 kilo. Het is een zeer sterke constructie en bedoeld om landingsvaartuigen op het strand tegen te houden. In de Atlantikwall werd de betonnen tetraëder meestal voorzien van ijzeren pinnen die uitstaken om de onderstellen van amfibische voertuigen op te scheuren of te stoppen of werd er een anti-tankmijn opgeplaatst.

Tetraëders are barriers that were found in large numbers on the beach during the Second World War. "Tetraëder" means tetrahedron. So they are pyramids with four faces. Composed in wartime with six beams of 120 kilos each. It is a very strong construction and intended to stop landing craft on the beach. In the Atlantic Wall, the concrete tetrahedron was usually provided with iron pins that protruded to tear or stop the undercarriages of amphibious vehicles or an anti-tank mine was installed.
