The wire sculpture of a fairy is located on top of an information board outside the entrance to Trentham Gardens in the Shopping Village to advertise the Fairy Trail.

The Fairy Trail is located in the gardens of the Trentham Estate.
(An entrance fee is required to visit the lake and gardens. The fairy trail is included in the price charged for garden admission. Pick up a Trentham Fairy Trail leaflet and pencil at the entrance (cost £1) and receive a FREE fairy sticker when you've finished spotting the fairies!) (visit link)

The fairies are located around the lake, a numbered map indicates the locations. All the fairies have names and are all in different poses. Each fairy is different, some are bold, others cheeky, shy and daring - can you find them all? (visit link)

The fairy named Titania is constructed of stainless steel wire, and was created in Oct 2012 by Robin Wight of FantasyWire.
Titania (Shakespeare’s Queen of the Fairies, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream) was designed and made for Trentham Gardens to advertise the fairy trail and is located outside the gardens, pointing the way.

Local artist Robin Wight started making fairies created from galvanised and stainless steel wire, in July 2010.

"Fairies invoke thoughts of fantasy. They help you escape the real world for a moment and are generally associated with good things. Fairies are nice. I make wire fairies because I love the whole creative process of designing and building something nice and delicate yet are made from hard industrial materials.
The very first fairy trail was at Oakamoor Village Festival in September 2012. We hid 11 fairies along a path through the woods and handed out leaflets in the village challenging people to find them all. It was purely by chance that Amanda (then Trentham Gardens Marketing Manager) was walking with a friend and met “Shaky” followed by another, then another fairy. Someone asked Amanda for help to find one that seemed particularly well hidden and the penny dropped. I received an email entitled “We love your fairies”.
