Trentham War Memorial Cross stands in the grounds at the entrance to the Sutherland Mausoleum on Stone Road in Trentham.
It commemorates the residents of Trentham who were killed in the First and Second World Wars.
The memorial was designed by MESSRS WATKIN AND ADAMS and built by MR THOMAS GODWIN and was unveiled on Sunday 2 October 1921.
Description;
A three stepped square base surmounted by a plinth, with a tapering shaft and Latin cross.
The inscriptions read as follows:-
On the 12 O'CLOCK FACE the dedication reads:
“This memorial cross is the gift of the women of Trentham”.
On the 6 O'CLOCK FACE: the dedication reads:
1914 - 1918 "In grateful memory of the men of Trentham who fell in the Great War" and lists the 17 names below.
