Marker Text: Logan House. At the Famous Railroad Hotel that stood on this site was held the Conference of Northern War Governors, Sept. 24-26,1862. Governor Andrew Curtin of Pennsylvania called the meeting which united forces behind Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation.
