The Monument is in limestone with a tall column on a square base and the names of the fallen in both World Wars are at the rear of the Monument set in a red bricked walled area comprising of eight plaques. The three left and right plaques refer to World War 1 and the two centre plaques to World War 2.

An avenue of 12 trees leads up to the memorial and there is a wreath in relief at the top centre of each plaque.
